Ennis Tidy Towns acknowledges Committee Member

fr-john-molloy

Committee Member Fr. John Molloy has over the years made a huge contribution to every aspect of the Ennis Tidy Towns Initiative. Sadly for us we are to lose him to a better cause. He has taken up a new challenge in his life and has travelled to Lima in Peru to begin language school in preparation for his work in the mission of Ecuador.

John has been a very active  member with the Ennis Tidy Towns for over 10years. Through his enthusiasm and efforts entries in the garden competitions increased considerably, his weekly announcements from the alter raised the awareness of  Ennis Tidy Towns activities and more and more people became involved. His contributions at meetings always added value and his observations  were always well recieved and acted upon.

However, it is his friendship we will miss most and those very memorable boat trips. On behalf of everyone involved in the Ennis Tidy Towns Committee we wish John well in his new life adventure and we look forward to keeping in touch and looking at ways in which we can forge a new relationship with the people John will be working with to broaden our horizons.

God speed and bless you John.
