Don’t Fume Initiative Recognised at Climate Change Conference

Don't Fume the Kids Ad

Ennis Tidy Towns are delighted to announce that our TidyTowns Ireland Award-winning project – Don’t Fume at the Kids Car Idling Initiative – has been selected to be presented in the marketplace at the Creative Responses to Climate Change conference, which will take place on Monday 5th November.

The Conference will be addressed by none other than the legendary Mary Robinson of the Mary Robinson Foundation-Climate Justice.

We actively encouraged community groups, State Agencies and individuals to reuse our graphic to raise the awareness of the health, air quality and climate change implications of not ‘switching off’ the engine outside schools.

Great to see that projects run by Tidy Towns and other community groups throughout the country are being seen as major contributors to this global issue. We are truly honoured to be part of this important conversation.
