Biodiversity Lecture Series
During February and March, Ennis Tidy Towns host a series of free lectures for the public to enhance their knowledge of the impact biodiversity and sustainable living can have on our local environment.
The Winter Biodiversity Series project, managed by volunteer Feidhlim Harty of the Garden of Eden project, featured talks by experts on a wide range of topics. Taking place in Waterpark House, the events were very well attended through advertising on social media in 2017. The initiative was so warmly welcomed that the series continued in February and March of 2018.
Local residents attended talks on topics such as Cool Planet Experience, Wild Food and Foraging, Fishing and fish of the River Fergus, Gardening for Biodiversity and Wildlife of Ennis.
Keep an eye out on our Events page to find out about more upcoming Free Biodiversity Lectures.
