The Ennis Sub Aqua Club and Clare Civil Defence Volunteered an evening to wade through the River Fergus to collect litter dumped in this magnificent natural resource. This is hard work, but volunteers show up in spades every year for this clean-up. These organisations and the people in them are a fantastic asset to our community.
The sluices near the Mill Wheel become a collection point for litter and grime on the River Fergus. A huge thanks to Gary and Claire Lanigan for clearing this area so that the River Walk is looking better than ever.
