Conservation and Presentation of Buildings

The buildings that line the streets of Ennis are the ‘Face’ of the streetscape. Ennis Tidy Towns are continually involved and consulted on a number of projects that are town and community led to uphold the conservation and presentation of buildings throughout the town.

The development of playing pitches, gardens, sculptures or memorials on previously neglected land which has not only enhanced the area but also reduced anti-social behaviour. Other projects recently undertaken include Active Ennis Bicycle Stands throughout the town to facilitate cyclists, gable wall renovations, mural restoration, Unoccupied Window Scheme and historic shop and street sign repairs.
