Ennis Tidy Towns in association with Ennis Town Council are urging everyone to get involved in this years National Spring Clean initiative. Saturday April 13th has been designated our action day in Ennis and community / voluntary groups, residents associations, businesses, and members of the community are invited to get involved.
It’s simple all you have to do is get out in your community, help collect any unwanted litter and give your area a general clean. To help you, gloves, litter pickers and bags will be made available to you and all litter gathered by you will be collected and disposed of properly. If you would like to get involved, pop down to the offices of Ennis Town Council in Drumbiggle this Saturday, April 13th where interested groups will be assembling from 11am.
“ This event is always well supported and gets the Ennis Tidy Towns campaign off to a great start. It also helps us meet up with members of the public, community groups, residential societies and helps identify areas that require attention over the coming months; explained Aine Purcell, Chairperson of the Ennis Tidy Towns Committee. The committee hope to see a good turn out on the day and remind people that while Saturday has been designated a clean up day there is nothing stopping people organising their own day / evening over the next few weeks in their area to gather together to start a clean up operation.
Ennis Tidy Towns are anxious to help any residential area / group and urge people to come forward and meet with them to discuss their plans. To find out more contact Ennis Tidy Towns on 065 6842988 or or visit us on facebook. We look forward to hearing from you.
