Ennis Tidy Towns are over the moon with the Wins for Ennis at 2019 Tidy Town Awards. There was plenty of competition with the record number of entries at 918.
On 30th September at the National SuperValu Tidy Town Awards ceremony in the Helix in Dublin, Ennis Tidy Towns was proud to accept the following awards on behalf of the town:
1. Large Urban Centre
2. Gold Medal
3. County Winner
4. Regional Winner
5. Pollinator Award
6. Climate Action Award
7. Schools Award
Chairperson of Ennis Tidy Towns, Cormac McCarthy commented, “Ennis has won the award before but it was up to us to maintain the high standards and work in new areas of biodiversity.
“There are 20 people on the committee but we would not have got this award but for the work of the people of Ennis and all the different groups there.”
